As the holiday season approaches, we often find ourselves overwhelmed with anxiety and stress, thoughts of “am I doing enough” or “when will I find time?” This Thanksgiving season, let’s find time to pause and appreciate something wonderful about life.
Gratitude is about focusing on what we have, rather than what we lack, and hopefully our newest blog: 35 Reasons To Be Thankful reminds readers of their own reasons to be thankful this season.

Health. Even if it’s not perfect, any level of health is a daily gift worth cherishing.
Family. The bonds with those who know us best and often support us unconditionally are true treasures in life.
Friends Who Feel Like Family. A well-chosen friend fills our life with laughter, love, and support in good times and times of struggle.
Home. Having a safe space to relax, reflect, and recharge, no matter its size, is truly a gift to be thankful for.
Nature’s Beauty. A simple sunrise or the magnificent depths of the ocean, stunning mountains and a bird’s lovely song, remind us of all of life’s wonders and the blessing’s God bestows upon us all each day.
Fresh Starts. Each morning brings a fresh new chance to try again, grow, learn, and forgive.
Opportunities To Learn. Life is a constant journey and each experience whether inside or outside of a classroom adds to our wisdom.
Kindness Of A Stranger. A small act of kindness can completely change our day. Let’s strive to be the change we want to see in the world.
Personal Growth. Moments of reflection and self-improvement are key to becoming our best selves.
Books. Each story can transport us to a new world, teach, and entertain. Reading opens our minds and imagination in beautiful ways.

Comfort Food. Warm, familiar dishes lift our spirits and nourish our bodies. With so much food insecurity in our communities, if we have an opportunity to share our bounty, we should do it freely and without judgment.
Healthcare. Access to healthcare that keeps us and loved ones safe, healthy, and connected to resources is a gift.
Technology. These ways of staying connected to loved ones near and far, educating, and entertaining us, can be viewed as blessings and curses. It’s a fine balance not to fall too far into the technology rabbit hole.
Creativity, Art, and Imagination. The ability to express ourselves freely through writing, art, cooking, song, dance, or any art form is a gift worth cherishing.
Laughter. Embracing moments of joy and lightness help us bond with others and lift our spirits.
Resilience. Our ability to bounce back, even from tough times, is something to be thankful for.
Clean Water. Like food insecurity, not all humans being are afforded clean drinking water. Seemingly small blessings can make a huge impact in another’s life.
Memories. The moments we treasure and the stories we keep in our hearts can carry us through life.
Freedom To Choose. From big decisions to everyday choices, Americans are all afforded the ability to choose for themselves, a freedom missing in some parts of the world.
Pets. Whether furry or scaly, feathered or fuzzy, the members of our pet family bring loyalty, joy, and companionship.

Education. Learning and the ability to improve ourselves, at any age, is a true blessing to be thankful for.
Personal Passions. Hobbies like cooking, gardening, and crafting make life colorful and fulfilling.
Quiet Moments. Time for reflection, peace, and grounding are necessary and should be appreciated, embraced, and scheduled! There’s nothing selfish about taking time for yourself.
Love. In all its forms, the love we give and receive makes life worth living.
Volunteerism. The ability to support others enriches our lives and builds stronger communities. Helping others is helping ourselves.
Humor. Finding laughter, even through the dark times, is a gift.
The Joy Of Giving. Sharing, giving back, and volunteering brings warmth to both giver and receiver. It’s never too late to Share The Gift Of Love.
Dreams. The hope and ambition that drives us forward is a blessing worth keeping close to our hearts.

Internet. The bringer of information, connector of minds, and deliverer of information – the world wide web is a piece of technology that binds us all and for that, we should be grateful.
Senses. Each of our senses allow us to appreciate different parts of the world, and each is a gift from God that should be blessed.
Music. How blessed we are to have songs that match our mood, bring back memories, and evoke passion in our lives?
Free Time. Moments to do what we love without obligation or regret are those times that help us recharge our minds, bodies, and souls.
Respites, Havens, and Getaways. Locations that allow us to escape the noise, obligations, and stress of our daily lives are a reason to be thankful.
