As the Family Reunion Event approaches, we are getting ready to greet our Precious Moments family and friends.   Whether this is your first time or you’re a seasoned attendee, the Family Reunion Event is an exciting and rewarding experience.  

To make sure you’re fully prepared and maximize your time at the Event, we’ve compiled the 35 Must-Haves For The Family Reunion Event in our newest blog.

Bring your government issued ID and know the name of your group’s Main Registrant for On-Site Registration.

Your camera – a must to document all the wonderful memories you’ll make!

A completed Wish List. Building your Wish List ahead of time is the best way to not forget all the treasures you want to take home.

Pre-printed cards or stickers with your name, email, and phone number. Guaranteed you’ll meet so many new friends to keep in touch with and pre-printed cards make it easy to share your contact info!

Donations for our Community Service Partners. Visit the Events page or your printed Confirmation Packet for the full list of items we’re collecting for Fair Acres Family YMCA and artCentral!

Quarters and shiny pennies for the pressed penny machine!

A plan for which Silent Auction items you want to take home! Preview the list of Silent Auction items on our Events page.

Extra money for on-site Shop & Play tickets.

It never hurts to have an extra pen or two to complete forms and surveys.

Bring your appetite for our extra-special 35th Anniversary dinner at Fairview Christian Church on Saturday!

A comfortable pair of walking shoes – your feet will thank you at the end of each evening!

Up to two Precious Moments figurines for Hiko to sign during your assigned VIP Signing Time!

Your Confirmation Packet is not required, but you may want to reference some of the materials inside.

Respect for our on-site VIPs and their personal space and/or time.

A list of Secondary Market items you have available for sale or trade.

Your wish list of Secondary Market items – you never know who has the treasure you seek!

Comfortable and casual clothes!

Personal care items, like hand sanitizer, for when you grab a quick bite at Grandma Farmer’s Market pop-up deli inside Royal Delights or our FREE popcorn!

Plastic baggies or small containers to keep track of your Event pins and other small keepsakes.

A knowledge of Precious Moments & Chapel trivia so you and your team can beat Deb in the Trivia Challenge!

Reliable transportation to and from all the activity locations is a must! While on-site, we’re pleased to offer a complimentary shuttle service with various stops on property (Visitor Center, Museum, Chapel, and Shop & Play), but other activities are hosted at Fairview Christian Church, a short driving distance from the Visitor Center.

A small notepad to take notes about all the NEW and exciting sneak peeks!

Patience and understanding for Team Timmy with long lines and crowds.

A list of Precious Moments items already in your collection, so you can freely shop at the Secondary Market without fear of duplication!

A light jacket or sweater. It’s October in Carthage, MO so that means it might be 80° or 30°! Temps in the Visitor Center, Chapel, and Fairview Christian Church might vary.

A reusable water bottle or travel mug always comes in handy!

If it’s your first Family Reunion Event or if it’s been a while since you visited, you might bring a dependable GPS or road map to navigate between our points of interest.

Your cell phone or tablet that can access QR codes! We’re using them a lot this year for quick access to schedules and surveys!

If you need or use reading glasses, make sure you bring them! You’d be surprised how many folks forget those at home – not realizing how much reading they need to do on-site.
